Alumni giving often is used as a measure of a university's success. At Appalachian, we measure both percentage of participation and total dollars raised by alumni. Participation in giving is a statistic closely watched by foundations, grant-making organizations, and publications and institutions that rank universities. One of Appalachian's strategic goals is to increase the percentage of alumni who give to the university as a true reflection of our alumni's commitment to sustaining the Appalachian experience for generations to come.

Participation at any level supports the many exciting opportunities taking place at Appalachian and demonstrates the commitment, loyalty and passion of the Appalachian Family. Gifts to The Appalachian Fund, when added together, can amount to considerable sums. When you give to Appalachian, every single gift makes a difference.
